Dale Ward is a 14 years old boy who lives with his mum, dad, his younger sister Kirsty (later called Kayleigh) and an older brother called Gavin. They live in Hawthorne, Yorkshire.

This story orbits a dark secret Dale’s brother is keeping. He is a murderer. Gav was arrested a Tuesday, at work. He was arrested for murdering five young girls.
As soon as Dale’s parents finds out, they decide to change their names and move away. And so they do. His name is now Glen Parish, and his new home is nearly three hounded miles away. The story is about Dale, trying to start a new life and leaving his old life behind. It’s hard though when media is searching for them, and especially for Dale, who’s afraid of becoming who his brother is.
