My "concert"

The nearest to a concert I have been to was actually in May this year (May the 18th, to be exactly). It was on Lundakarnevalen, and I saw Timbuktu perform. I went there with two of my friends, and once there we met a bounch of ofter friends. The performance was at Lundagård in Lund, so it was a pretty small area. Despite that, I think that over 500 people appeared. That's what the event on Facebook says anyway.

The "mini-concert" was really good. It was pretty small and cozy, and the whole audience seemed to enjoy. Timbuktu is also a Swedish artist from Malmö, so I guess he was pretty relaxed because he pretty much sang on home ground. He sang between 10- 15 songs, both some of his most popular songs like "Resten av ditt liv", "Fallskärm",  "Allt grönt" and also a new song that he released after the concert. He also let us sing on of his recent covers "Flicka och kråkan".

What I really like about Timbuktu's songs is that all of his songs have an easy sung chorus. Even though he rap, some of his songs are really easy to sing along to. The lyrics are also well-written and fun, with a great meaning behind it. I guess everyone can relate to his songs even though his way to express feelings are a bi different.
